Execution Philosophy

Why is GoldEdge partnering with UTO Capital?

Our partnership rationale centres on execution transparency, access to liquidity, and a broker-hosted PAMM structure that can connect investors to a defined trading strategy.

Our view on A-Book execution.

In a commonly described A-Book model, a broker routes or hedges client exposure with external liquidity providers or counterparties. The broker’s revenue may come from spreads, commissions or other disclosed charges rather than primarily from taking the opposite side of the client’s trade. Actual arrangements vary by broker, instrument and market conditions.

GoldEdge’s partnership position: we are seeking an execution environment aligned with transparent access to external liquidity and a clearly explained order-handling model. UTO Capital’s website says it connects to multiple liquidity providers. Our stronger A-Book positioning should be published as a confirmed claim only after UTO supplies written documentation covering execution, hedging and order-routing practices for the relevant account type.

01 / ALIGNMENT

Potentially clearer incentives

Where a broker routes or hedges exposure externally and earns disclosed transaction costs, its economic relationship with client trading can differ from a model that relies mainly on internalising the other side. The precise arrangement must be verified.

02 / LIQUIDITY

Access to external pricing

Connections to multiple liquidity providers may broaden available pricing and execution sources. Liquidity depth, spreads and fills still vary by instrument, order size, volatility and time of day.

03 / EXECUTION

Execution quality matters

Transparent order handling, clear disclosures and robust infrastructure help traders evaluate execution. No broker model can guarantee zero slippage, the best price on every order or uninterrupted access.

04 / COST

More informed cost review

Investors can review spreads, commissions, swaps, slippage and execution reports to assess the actual cost of trading rather than relying on marketing labels alone.

05 / OVERSIGHT

Defined account framework

Broker terms, risk disclosures, complaint procedures and account reporting provide documents investors can examine before opening and funding an account.

06 / PAMM

Strategy access in a broker account

UTO’s PAMM solution is designed to link investor accounts to a manager and allocate results proportionally under the platform’s rules.

A-Book vs B-Book

Understand the difference.

Neither label, by itself, proves that a broker is fair or unfair. Some brokers use hybrid models that route some flow externally and internalise other flow. The practical questions are how orders are handled, what conflicts are disclosed, what execution data is available, and whether the model is documented.

A-Book / external routing

  • Client exposure may be passed to or hedged with external counterparties.
  • Broker economics may lean more on spreads and commissions.
  • Execution remains exposed to liquidity, latency, slippage and market gaps.

B-Book / internalisation

  • Broker may internalise client flow and take the other side of trades.
  • This can create a direct conflict of interest that should be understood and disclosed.
  • Internalisation does not automatically mean poor execution; the specific controls and terms matter.

What investors should verify.

  • Ask UTO Capital for its current order execution policy and written description of routing/hedging for your account and instruments.
  • Confirm which legal entity will onboard you and whether the service is available in your country.
  • Read the current client agreement, risk disclosure, fees, margin and withdrawal terms.
  • Review actual spreads, commissions, slippage and trade confirmations over time.
  • Remember that external liquidity and A-Book routing do not protect against strategy losses.

This page explains GoldEdge’s rationale and general market structure; it is not an independent audit or certification of UTO Capital’s execution model. UTO’s public website states that it is connected to multiple liquidity providers, but that statement alone does not establish that every order is executed on a pure A-Book basis.
